As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Site Protection in Portsmouth VA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Day Time

12:00 PM - 05:00 PM

02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors employees contractors and/or maritime personnel by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned waterfront facilities buildings access points parking areas and perimeter areas observing and reporting unusual conditions or potential hazards.
• Monitor access to restricted areas by verifying authorized entry following visitor and contractor procedures and reporting access-control concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner; document observations and complete required reports in accordance with site procedures.
• Help to deter unauthorized activity through a professional presence maintain communication with site contacts and/or emergency responders and support orderly operations at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
