Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Truck Gate in Dundalk MD you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a government transportation location you will conduct routine patrols maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents and provide outstanding customer service and communication. You will use computer or tablet tools to document activity and support daily operations while working with a collaborative team. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel visitors contractors and members of the public while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies at a government maritime transportation location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned facilities access points parking areas waterfront-adjacent areas and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to restricted areas verify credentials as directed and report access concerns or suspicious activity according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents alarms emergencies and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and assist with emergency response activities as directed.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain activity logs documenting patrols incidents observations and communications.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
