Location: Bronx, NY 10467

Contract: 13

Schedule: 3 Days/Week | 11.5 Hours/night

Shift Time: 7:00 PM-7:30 AM

Guaranteed Hours per Week: 34.5

Pay: Local: $67 to $70/hourly/W2

Travel: $2500 to $2700/ Gross weekly

Job Summary

Pride Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse – Behavioral Health Adult Inpatient for a contract opportunity in the Bronx, NY. The ideal candidate will have strong behavioral health nursing experience and the ability to provide quality care in an adult inpatient behavioral health setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to adult behavioral health patients in an inpatient setting.
• Assess patient needs and monitor changes in clinical and behavioral conditions.
• Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support patient care.
• Promote a safe, therapeutic, and supportive environment.
• Follow established nursing, safety, and behavioral health protocols.

Requirements

• 2 years of behavioral health experience required.
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) from an accredited nursing program.
• Active New York State RN License required.
• Primary Source Verification of NYS RN license and registration required.
• AHA BLS certification required.
• Behavioral health nursing experience required.
• Strong communication and clinical assessment skills.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in adult inpatient behavioral health.
• Experience caring for patients with behavioral health needs.
• Strong patient safety and crisis-management skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team.
