Job Description

LATAM Marketing Lead

We're looking for a LATAM Marketing Lead to be the region's marketing owner — the person who takes global strategy and brand from our Growth team and turns it into a localized, executed plan across Mexico, Brazil, and West LATAM. This is a hands-on, plug-and-play role: no team, no existing playbook, just a market that needs someone to build the demand engine from the ground up and run it themselves.

You'll own everything from events and partner co-marketing to social, content, PR, and demand gen — executing directly rather than coordinating through an agency or a team. If you've built a brand and pipeline from zero before and want to do it again for a fast-growing AI company, this is the role.

What We're Looking For
  • 3–6 years in B2B marketing, growth, or demand generation — ideally at a startup or high-growth tech company where you owned execution end-to-end
  • Plug-and-play profile: you can land, take ownership, and start executing in weeks — no playbook, no team, no excuses
  • Proven experience organizing events (conferences, executive dinners, trade shows) and running them from logistics to pipeline follow-up
  • Hands-on across channels: social media, content, email, paid, and partner co-marketing — you execute yourself, not just coordinate
  • Strong writing and storytelling in Spanish and English; you can produce customer-facing content without an agency
  • Analytical mindset: you measure everything (pipeline per event, CAC per channel, campaign ROI) and reallocate accordingly
  • Excellent stakeholder management — comfortable aligning with a global Growth team and executing with local sales teams and partners
  • Professional fluency in Spanish and English
What You'll Do
  • Own LATAM marketing strategy end-to-end — align with the global Growth team on brand, messaging, and campaign calendar, then localize and execute across Mexico, Brazil, and West LATAM, feeding regional insights back to shape global campaigns
  • Run the LATAM events engine: executive dinners, roundtables, conferences, trade shows, and partner events, from budget and logistics through pipeline attribution
  • Build co-marketing programs with strategic partners (HITSS, Solvento, Atrevia, Accenture) — joint events, co-branded content, and a partner marketing kit (decks, case studies, playbooks) they can run themselves
  • Own social and content for the region — LinkedIn presence, executive ghostwriting, and localized case studies, webinars, and collateral in Spanish and Portuguese
  • Build regional brand awareness through media relationships, press, speaking opportunities, and analyst visibility
  • Run demand gen and marketing ops — paid, email, and ABM campaigns coordinated with BDRs/AEs, plus attribution, pipeline reporting, and management of the regional budget and vendors
Nice to Have
  • Ex-founder or early employee who built a brand and demand engine from zero — you know what scrappy, high-leverage marketing looks like
  • Portuguese proficiency (Brazil is a priority market)
  • Experience in enterprise SaaS or AI, marketing to C-level buyers with long sales cycles
  • Background in partner / channel marketing with resellers or system integrators
  • Familiarity with LATAM enterprise markets (Mexico, Brazil, Argentina) and the local media / events ecosystem
  • Hands-on with marketing tooling: HubSpot or similar CRM, LinkedIn Ads, email platforms, Notion, and basic design tools (Figma, Canva)
  • Experience with PR agencies and media relations in the region
Why Join Us?
  • Join a world-class team of engineers and builders.
  • Backed by top investors including a16z, Y Combinator, Base10, Prysm Capital and Eurazeo.
  • Have ownership and autonomy of projects and are encouraged to ship.
  • Comprehensive benefits including healthcare, dental, vision coverage.
  • Competitive salary + equity in a high-growth startup.

Our Operating Principles

Extreme Ownership

We take full responsibility for our work, outcomes, and team success. No excuses, no blame-shifting — if something needs fixing, we own it and make it better. This means stepping up, even when it's not "your job." If a ball is dropped, we pick it up. If a customer is unhappy, we fix it. If a process is broken, we redesign it. We don't wait for someone else to solve it — we lead with accountability and expect the same from those around us.

Craftsmanship

Putting care and intention into every task, striving for excellence, and taking deep ownership of the quality and outcome of your work. Craftsmanship means never settling for "just fine." We sweat the details because details compound. Whether it's a product feature, an internal doc, or a sales call — we treat it as a reflection of our standards. We aim to deliver jaw-dropping customer experiences by being curious, meticulous, and proud of what we build — even when nobody's watching.

We are "majos" Be friendly & have fun with your coworkers. Always be genuine & honest, but kind. "Majo" is our way of saying: be a good human. Be approachable, helpful, and warm. We're building something ambitious, and it's easier (and more fun) when we enjoy the ride together. We give feedback with kindness, challenge each other with respect, and celebrate wins together without ego.

Urgency with Focus Create the highest impact in the shortest amount of time. Move fast, but in the right direction. We operate with speed because time is our most limited resource. But speed without focus is chaos. We prioritize ruthlessly, act decisively, and stay aligned. We aim for high leverage: the biggest results from the simplest, smartest actions. We're running a high-speed marathon — not a sprint with no strategy.

Talent Density and Meritocracy Hire only people who can raise the average; 'exceptional performance is the passing grade.' Ability trumps seniority. We believe the best teams are built on talent density — every hire should raise the bar. We reward contribution, not titles or tenure. We give ownership to those who earn it, and we all hold each other to a high standard. A-players want to work with other A-players — that's how we win.

First-Principles Thinking Strip a problem to physics-level facts, ignore industry dogma, rebuild the solution from scratch. We don't copy-paste solutions. We go back to basics, ask why things are the way they are, and rebuild from the ground up if needed. This mindset pushes us to innovate, challenge stale assumptions, and move faster than incumbents. It's how we build what others think is impossible.
